The Session
The jaw is a sliding hinge. It is one of the busiest joints in the body — it talks, chews, and clenches through every deadline and every difficult conversation you have ever had. Physical and emotional stress is held here, in the small muscles around the temporomandibular joint, and most of us have no idea how much we are gripping until someone releases it.
Face Love begins where that tension actually lives. After a short assessment I work intra-orally — buccal massage, from inside the mouth — to release the masseter and the deeper muscles of the jaw that no external stroke can reach. This is the work I am best known for, and it is the reason the face changes shape by the end of the hour: not from pushing skin around, but from letting a clenched jaw finally let go.
From there the session moves outward. I use facial gua sha and cupping to move lymph and lift, sculptural lifting techniques through the cheeks and brow, and — where it suits — LED or the LYMA laser to work at the level of the tissue itself. Throughout, it stays a massage, not a procedure. The nervous system drops down into a parasympathetic state, where true healing takes place, and the face softens because the whole body has.

Yes, with a little timing. Please wait around 4-6 weeks after any anti-wrinkle (Botox) or filler injections before booking buccal or sculptural work, so the product has fully settled and we're not moving it. If you have something booked soon, tell me and we'll schedule around it. In the meantime, gentle lymphatic or LED-only work is usually fine.

Buccal massage is worked from inside the mouth, with a gloved hand, to reach the deep jaw muscles — chiefly the masseter — that external strokes can't release. It's the core of Face Love and the reason the jawline and cheeks soften and lift so noticeably. It isn't painful, though a tight jaw can feel tender as it lets go.

Most people see a lift, less puffiness and a more defined jawline straight after a session — the face looks rested. Because a lot of that is releasing held tension and moving fluid, results build with regular sessions and settle over the following day or two. It's cumulative, gentle and completely non-invasive.

None. You can go straight back to your day. Skin may look a little flushed for a short while from the increased circulation, which settles quickly. Drink plenty of water after to help your system clear what we've moved.
