Stillness
Craniosacral, kinesiology and energy work — for the part of you that never gets to rest.
The Session
Some bodies don’t need to be worked — they need to be met. Stillness sessions are the quietest thing I offer: subtle, hands-on work that speaks to the nervous system rather than the muscles, for people who are wired, depleted, or carrying something they can’t quite name.
In biodynamic craniosacral therapy I work with a very light touch, listening to the slow tides of the body and following its own intelligence as it unwinds. Almost nothing appears to happen, and yet a great deal does — the system drops out of its holding pattern and finally settles. Kinesiology brings in gentle muscle-monitoring, using the body’s own feedback to find where stress is held and what wants to shift. And energy healing — drawing on Reiki and years of intuitive practice — tends to the felt, energetic layer, the part of a person that talk and pressure can’t always reach.
I often move between all three within one session, guided by what your body offers. The destination is always the same: a parasympathetic state, where true healing takes place. This is deep rest, the real kind — the sort of session you sleep eleven hours after.

Very gentle, and often surprisingly profound. You stay fully clothed and lie comfortably while I rest my hands lightly on your head, sacrum or other points, following the subtle rhythms of your system. Outwardly little seems to happen — but most people feel warmth, a deep settling, sometimes a wave of release or emotion, and almost always a stillness that's hard to find any other way.
-
Kinesiology uses gentle pressure against a muscle to read the body's feedback — the muscle response shifts depending on where stress is held. It's not a strength test; it's a way of letting your body point to what wants attention, so the session follows your system rather than my assumptions. It's painless and collaborative.

You rest, clothed, and I work with a light or hovering touch, drawing on Reiki and years of intuitive practice to tend the energetic, felt layer of the body. People describe warmth, tingling, deep relaxation, sometimes emotional release — and often a clarity or lightness afterwards. You don't need to believe anything for it to be restful; you only need to lie down and let go.

No. Craniosacral, kinesiology and energy work are all done fully clothed — wear something comfortable and soft. If we've combined stillness with hands-on massage, we'll handle draping for the massage portion in the usual private, covered way.

Most people feel deeply calm, sometimes dreamy or tender, occasionally tired as the nervous system integrates — give yourself a soft rest of the day if you can. It's the kind of session people sleep long and deep after. As for frequency, even one session helps; for ongoing stress or recovery, a rhythm of every few weeks lets the changes build. We'll find what suits you.
